Puppy Adoption Agreement

Adoption Process:

You may come meet & choose your new friend in person. We will reserve your puppy for you with a downpayment of $200 (non-refundable) which goes toward the cost of your puppy.

Health Guarantee:
Our puppies are on a routine deworming program and have been given their first vaccinations. Validation of this guarantee requires the examination of your new by the vet of your choice and at the buyer’s expense within 72 hours of the pick-up date. Your puppy has been examined by our vet and comes with a health certificate. This veterinary examination is mandatory to confirm that your puppy is not sick or injured at the time of adoption.

The guarantee against transmissible diseases such as canine parvovirus, for example, is valid for a period of 7 days. For example: if the first signs of canine parvovirus were to show on a puppy 12-15 days from pick-up, the puppy could not have carried that disease from the breeder’s premises and incubated it for that long before showing signs of the disease. The breeder guarantees the puppy until 1 year of age against life threatening congenital and hereditary defects. It will be replaced with the first available puppy of the same value from the breeder as soon as possible. The original puppy much be returned (at the buyer’s expense) before a new puppy can be replaced. In the event of death, an autopsy must be performed (at the buyer’s expense) by a licensed veterinarian in order to determine the exact cause of death. This information will then be sent to the breeder’s vet for review. The breeder is not responsible for any vet bill the buyer may incur. Only replacement will be made, no monetary refunds. The guarantee does not cover Hypoglycemia, Coccidiosis, Giardia or hernias. If puppies dies, registration papers must be returned to breeder for identification.

By purchasing your puppy, you, the buyer, agree that you have read, understand, and accept the terms of this contract. We have this guarantee to stress the importance of the health and well being of your new puppy. Proper care is vital for the first few weeks of transition of your puppy.
